Our History

The founding leadership of the AI Cinematic Films Guild (AICFG) represents a collective of experienced filmmakers, artists, technologists, and educators committed to advancing the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence within cinematic storytelling. Based in Los Angeles and working internationally, the Guild’s leadership brings together decades of experience in traditional filmmaking, journalism, visual arts, and emerging media technologies.

Members of the Guild’s leadership have served the broader media industry through professional judging and peer review for major international competitions. These include service as National and Regional Emmy judges, as well as jurors for respected global awards programs including the AIVA Communicator Awards, the Telly Awards, the Davy Awards, and the W3 Awards. Leadership members are also professional members of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The Guild is guided by a board of experienced filmmakers who have  produced AI-driven feature films with worldwide distribution. Members of the board hold professional industry credits, including verified listings on IMDb, and bring extensive experience in film production, storytelling, and emerging AI creative workflows.

Collectively, the Guild’s leadership and creative collaborators have produced numerous documentaries and feature films over the past three decades. Their work has earned more than one hundred international film awards and has been featured across major broadcast and media platforms including CNN, CNN International, The Weather Channel, and CBS News. Their productions have also been distributed through major outlets such as Vision Video/Gateway Films, Amazon, Target, eBay, ABC, Pure Flix, and the Christian Book Center.

Among the Guild’s leadership is Dr. Nancy Hamilton, founder and co-owner of Golden Eagle Films, a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian film production organization, and CEO of Golden Eagle AI. Dr. Hamilton holds a Master of Science degree in Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Education from Liberty University, with post-doctoral studies in Educational Psychology. With more than thirty years of professional experience in filmmaking and media production, she has worked across the full spectrum of visual storytelling as an educator, producer, director, independent journalist, video editor, and writer.

In 2025, the team reached a historic milestone when IMDb formally recognized the professional credit “AI Animator,” marking the first official acknowledgment of this role within the film industry. This recognition established AI animation as a legitimate professional discipline and helped redefine how emerging creative technologies are credited and understood within modern production pipelines.

Today, the AI Cinematic Films Guild exists to support filmmakers, actors, animators, and creative professionals as they explore the evolving landscape of intelligent cinema. Through collaboration, education, and production, the Guild seeks to combine timeless storytelling traditions with emerging tools, helping shape a new chapter in the history of motion pictures.
