From Film Sets to AI Workflows
Hey everyone, I'm Mitar, a Video Specialist and storyteller based in Linz, Austria.
I've been working in professional video production for over 11 years, from camera and editing to full creative direction and strategy. My day-to-day roots are in corporate and B2B video, but my heart has always been in narrative storytelling. One of my short films was selected for the Crossing Europe Film Festival, which still means a lot to me.
What brought me to AI filmmaking was the AI filmmaking community itself. Seeing what people were building with generative tools made something click. I realized this wasn't just a shortcut, it was a completely new creative language. For someone who has always worked across the full production chain solo, the idea of having AI as a creative partner was immediately exciting.
Right now I'm deep in the experimentation phase, building and testing AI-driven workflows and figuring out how to bring real cinematic quality into AI-generated work. My background in cinematography, lighting, and storytelling gives me a strong foundation to evaluate what actually works vs. what just looks impressive in a demo.
